Back home in Geneva after a good trip to Holland. Can't remember why I was so pessimistic about Amsterdam last time, actually it's much more fun as a town than I remembered. Only bad point was that the temperature was about 30 Centrigrade, and the old buildings (All seem to be 1680-1720 in the middle of Amsterdam where I was,) cannot easily be retrofitted with AC. Gasp. Sweaty breathlessness nights, and for all the wrong reasons.
Oh well, my tree-hugger side says it's good for the Ozone layer.
